“MONOFOIL” ALUMINIUM CHOPPED FOIL

“MPD are proud to introduce a new range of aluminium effects. Aluminium chopped foil is the main alternative available to a pelletised aluminium pigment for obtaining a glitter effect is plastics applications. The main advantage of chopped foil is that the shape and size of the effect will be consistent and regular. These products are manufactured using
a high purity aluminium alloy based foil. These foils are suitable for plastics applications. The “MonoFoil” products have a thickness of 25 microns, however if requires a 12 micron thick foil is available.

Although MPD concentrates on the bright aluminium colour foil, coloured chopped foils are available.

The standard range consists of the following grades, which are all cut into either
hexagonal or square shapes:
